Usage and compatibility
Mass storage device intended for storage and transfer of large amounts of data
between computers.
This product is compatible with the following operating systems:

źMac OS X 10.4 and newer (formatting the drive to a file system other
than NTFS is required)
źLinux
This product is dedicated for consumer-class applications. It is not intended
to be used in systems that require high performance or high reliability
(e.g. industrial applications), unless it is stated that the product is dedicated
for these applications.
To achieve the highest performance, please connect the hard drive to USB 3.0
port. This hard drive is also compatible with USB 2.0 interface, but connecting
it will limit its performance to the level specified by this interface.
WARNING: Computer configuration, operating system or the voltage quality
in the USB port may affect performance of this external HDD.
Instruction of usage
Connect the attached USB cable to the external HDD and connect the other side
of the cable to a compatible USB port. The computer will identify hard drive
automatically and will install all required drivers, if needed. Product
is preformatted in NTFS file system by default. Please make sure that your
operating system supports this file system.
Capacity
Storage capacity for GOODRAM HDD is always expressed in decimal values.
That means, 1GB equals 1 000 000 000 bytes. Operating system that use the
binary conversion eg. 1GB equals 1 073 741 824 bytes may show lower storage
capacity value than advertised. Additionally, a part of the storage is reserved for
files and firmware, managing the drive.
