1 Important
Safety
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance, and save it for future
reference.
•Keep out of direct sunlight.
•The adaptor for this appliance shouldn’t be used for any other products.
Danger
•Do not let water or any other liquid or ammable detergent enter the appliance to
avoid electric shock and/or a re hazard.
•Do not clean the appliance with water, any other liquid, or a (ammable) detergent
to avoid electric shock and/or a re hazard.
•Do not spray any ammable materials such as insecticides or fragrance around the
appliance.
•Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and
before cleaning.
•Keep the cord out of heavy trac areas. To avoid a re hazard never put the cord
under rugs or near heat vents.
Warning
•Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. For assistance, contact Consumer
Care Centre in your country, go to your local Philips dealer.
•Only use the power supply unit provided with the appliance.
•If the power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service center
authorized by Philips, or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.

•This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
•This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the air monitor.
•Do not cover the appliance or block the air inlets.
•Do not soak the product in water.
•Do not place the appliance near heat sources, such as a stove, replace or a gas
appliance and do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight.
•To disconnect, press the power button to switch o the appliance, then remove the
plug from the electrical outlet.
•DO NOT use outdoors. For indoor use only.
•Charge, use and store the appliance in a place where temperature is between 5°C to
35°C.
Caution
•A loose t between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and
a distortion of the appliance plug. Contact a qualied electrician to replace loose or
worn outlet.
•Avoid knocking any parts of the appliance with hard objects.
•Do not ll water from the air inlets on top of the appliance.
•Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable, level, and horizontal surface or
hang on the wall.
•Do not place anything around the appliance nor sit on it.
•Do not place the appliance directly below an air conditioner to prevent condensation
from dripping onto the appliance, or incorrect sensor readings from the cold air
coming out of the air conditioner.
•Place the appliance properly to prevent children from knocking it over or tripping on
the power cord.
•Do not insert your ngers or objects into the air inlet.
•Do not use the appliance near gas appliance, heating devices, or replaces.
•Always unplug and switch o the appliance after use and before you clean it.

as this may cause condensation inside the appliance or inaccurate sensor reading.
•For residential use, place the appliance at least 2m away from electrical appliances
that use airborne radio waves such as TVs, radios, and radio-controlled clocks to

•The appliance is only intended for household use under normal operating
conditions.
•The adaptor only can be used for this appliance.

•For indoor detection, do not place the appliance near the windows or air conditioner which has a strong air convection.
Before detecting the air quality, close the room for ten minutes to get better results. Even in the same place, the
pollutant concentration is dierent at dierent locations, use multi- point detection in your room to get fully
understand of the air condition.
•During the detection, substances that contain alcohol (such as perfume, drinks, rotten vegetables, paint and marker
pens) and sulfur dioxide (such as bactericides and antiseptics) will interfere the sensing results. Interference of such
gases should be avoided. If the appliance has been aected, it is recommended to put the appliance in a clean and
ventilated place for a while before the sensing results are back to normal.

3 Getting started
Air quality monitor is designed for
monitoring your indoor air quality
continuously, for instant data reading,
make sure the power is always
connected.
It has a build-in battery, in case you
would like to take your air quality monitor
around to make quick measurements.
1 Connect the adapter into the
power-in socket.
2 Connect the power plug to the
power socket.
3 Press the power button to turn on
AirVibe. To turn o AirVibe, press
and hold the power button for
4 seconds.

from app stores. You can also
download the App by scanning the

5 Open the Ali Smart App and follow
the on-screen instructions to nd

Sleep mode
Press and hold the power button for
2 seconds.
» The brightness of the screen
dims.
PM2.5 Instant mode
PM2.5 Instant Mode gives you accurate
PM2.5 feedback in every second, this
mode lasts for a continuous 5 minutes
when triggered by button of the Airvibe or
App. After the 5 minutes it automatically
switches to Monitoring Mode with
reduced sensing frequency to every
minute. When Instant mode is triggered,
there is a small ‘i’ appears on product
PM2.5 page, it enables you to see instant
PM2.5 changes accurately.

6 Press the Wi-Fi conguration button
with a sharp object (such as a pen)
to enable the Wi-Fi connection.
» The Wi-Fi icon ( ) blinks
orange on the screen.
7 After the successful connection, the
Wi-Fi icon ( ) will change from
orange to white, stop blinking. You
can monitor your indoor air in real-
time, and get alerts from your smart
phone with the app. The real-time
data will be also displayed on your
phone. If you wish to read the data
from the monitor itself, click the
power button to change pages.
8 Follow steps 5-7 when your network
has changed.

4 Using your AirVibe
PM2.5
Most of the indoor air pollutants fall
under PM2.5 – which refers to airborne
particle pollutants smaller than
2.5 micrometers. Common indoor sources
of ne particles are tobacco smoke,
cooking, burning candles. Some airborne
bacteria and the smallest mold spores,
pet allergen and dust mite allergen
particles also fall under PM2.5.
Formaldehyde
This is a household chemical that is often
used in the manufacture of carpets, glues,
dyes, markers and paints. A colorless
gas released from paints, solvents and
adhesives, formaldehyde typically
leaches from furniture, soft furnishings,
wood products and construction
materials. It is an irritant and a known
carcinogen, with prolonged exposure
considered a serious health risk.
Indoor formaldehyde could remain a
period of emission time ranging from
3 years to more than 10 years, with high
temperature and humidity promote the
release of formaldehyde.
It is important to monitor the
formaldehyde release through the sensor.

5 Cleaning
Caution
• Do not use a cleaning agent as it
may damage the gas sensors or lead
to inaccurate sensor reading.

6 Troubleshooting
If your AirVibe does not function properly, consult the table below. If you are unable to
solve the problem, contact a Philips service centre or the Consumer Care Centre in your
country.
Problem Solution
The AirVibe can not be turned on. •Recharge the appliance or connect the
appliance to AC power.
•The appliance has a malfunction. Take the
appliance to your Philips dealer or a service
center authorised by Philips.
The “---” is displayed on the screen
of AirVibe.
•The device is at warming up stage right after
when the power is on, and the sign will be
o and changed into numeric display after
few seconds.
•The sensor has a malfunction. Take the
appliance to your Philips dealer or a service
center authorised by Philips.
I can hear noise from the air quality
monitor.
•Your air quality monitor is performing
the sensing of your indoor air quality to
provide the air quality feedback of your
environment. There is a fan inside of the
appliance, the noise is normal. It is not
recommended to place next to your bed to
reduce irritation.

The Wi-Fi setting is unsuccessful. •If the router your device is connected
to is dual – band and currently it is not
connecting to a 2.4GHz network, please
switch to another band of the same router
(2.4GHz) and try to pair the device again.
5Ghz networks are not supported.
•Web authentication networks are not
supported.
•Check if your mobile device is connected to
the network.
•Check if the device is within range of the
Wi-Fi router. You can try to locate the
device closer to the Wi-Fi router.
•Check if the network name is correct. The
network name is case-sensitive.
•Check if the Wi-Fi password is correct. The
password is case-sensitive.
•Retry the setup with the instructions in
section ‘Getting started’.
•The Wi-Fi connectivity can be interrupted
by electromagnetic or other interferences.
Keep the appliance away from other
electronic devices that may cause
interferences.
•Check if the mobile device is in airplane
mode. Make sure to have the airplane
mode deactivated when connecting to the
Wi-Fi network.
•Consult the help section in the App for
extensive and up-to-date troubleshooting
tips.

Recycling
Do not throw away the product with the
normal household waste at the end of its

The built-in rechargeable appliance
battery contains substances that may
pollute the environment. Always remove
the battery before you discard or hand
in the appliance at an ocial collection
point. Dispose o the battery at an ocial
collection point for batteries. If you
have trouble removing the battery, you
can also take the appliance to a Philips
service centre. The sta of this centre
will remove the battery for you and will
dispose of it in an environmentally safe
way.
Removing the rechargeable appliance
battery
Only remove the rechargeable battery
when you discard the appliance.
Make sure the rechargeable battery is
completely empty when you remove it.

2 Rotate rear housing and take o.
3 Undo the screws in the back of
the appliance and take o metal
housing.
4 Remove internal housing.
5 Pull out battery connector and
remove battery.

4 使用您的 AirVibe
PM2.5

回收
弃置产品时，请不要将它与一般生活垃圾一

4 取下内部外壳。
5 拉出电池连接器并取出电池。

1. 使用不当引起的人为损坏，例如接入不适当电源、使用不

疏忽而造 成损坏等。因运输及其他意外而造成之损坏。
非经本公司认可之维修和改装。其他因不可抗力（如自然
灾害、电压异常等）造成的损坏。

一般家庭以外使用（如工业、商业用）而造成的损坏。

正常使用引起的产品老化、磨损等，但不影响产品的正常
使用。
* 此证仅在中国境内有效。
* 保修证作为在规定期限及条件之内进行免费维修的保证，
并不限制消费者的法定权利。
保修及服务：
此产品是一件设计精良，用高品质元件制造之家用电器，在
正常使用及保养下应能发挥其优越性能。在购买日期后二
年内，若发生任何因制造工艺或元器件造成之损坏，飞利浦
中国维修服务中心将为持证用户提供免费门市维修服务，
视情况更换零件或整个产品。
无论在保期中或保期后，只要飞利浦正式行销该产品的任
何国家皆可获得维修服务。
若飞利浦在当地无行销该项产品，飞利浦同样提供维修服务，
但可能因未储备所需零件，维修时间可能较长，敬请见谅。
