1. Remove the 4 rubber feet from your Cisco appliance.
2. Remove the 2 bolts (situated on the front side of the appliance) from the bottom of the Cisco appliance.
3. Place your Cisco appliance backwards through the FRONT opening of the rack.
4. Turn over the rack with the Cisco appliance.
5. For MX68: Use the original bolts to x the Cisco appliance on the rack and turn it back over.
For MX75: Use the provided bolts to x the appliance on the rack and turn it back over.
Tip: use a table edge so the appliance is pinned down to the frame and the bolt holes line up.
6. Place the power supply on the rack and tie it down with the 2 zip ties.
7. Lead the low voltage power cable through the large square hole towards the front of the rack and
connect it to the power inlet.
8. Tie the excess length of the power cable down with the 3rd zip tie.
9. Place the light pipe through the opening of the rack. See picture above.
10. Place your CisRack in your 19 inch rack.
Please ensure proper ventilation according to the network appliance manufacturer guidelines.
