Pairing and Unpairing
Pair the Local and Remote units
The Local and Remote units come paired out-of-the-box, so you don’t need to pair the
units initially.
If you want to change the Local and Remote unit pairings across a network, complete
the following steps:
1. Make sure that the Local and Remote units are directly connected to each other or
are connected to the same subnet on your network.
2. Press and hold the Mode button on the back of the Local unit for 10 seconds. The
Link LED will start blinking.
3. Within 10 minutes of activating the pairing mode on the Local unit, press and hold
the Mode button on the back of the Remote unit for 10 seconds. The Link LED will
start blinking.
Note: If more than 10 minutes pass before the units are paired, then the units will
switch back to regular mode and re-establish the previous links they had. To cancel
pairing mode, press and hold the Mode button again for 10 seconds.
The Link LED on both units may start blinking slowly. When the Link LEDs are on and
no longer blinking, the link between both units has been established.
Unpairing units
To unpair units, press and hold the Mode button on one of the units for more than 10
seconds.
Compatibility
The USB2G4LEXT2NA complies with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 specications but not all USB
