Welcome
Congratulations, you’ve purchased the latest
product from mophie that can charge virtually
any USB device in the world. The powerstation
is capable of switching between a 500mAh
charge (typical), a 1A charge (impressive) and
2.1A (unheard of).
Because the powerstation is universal and
will work with most USB devices, its hard
to be specic about how much additional
power you will get – it depends on what kind
of battery you are charging and what you’re
using it for. But at 4000mAh, rest assured that
this thing will keep you going for hours.
Features
With completely reengineered battery and
electronics, the powerstation can charge your
device at super-fast speeds. The powerstation
has brains, beauty and brawn – everything
you’ve ever wanted from a travel companion.
Here’s a rundown of why this is the
perfect device:
1. 4000 mAh device that is compatible with
just about anything.
2. High-density, high-output battery charges
at speeds of up to 2 amps. That’s 4 times faster
than traditional USB batteries!
3. Capable of charging the power hungry iPad,
smartphones, tablets and other large USB-
powered devices.
4. Check the fuel tank with the 4 LED charge
status indicator – always know before you go!
5. Rechargeable for over 500 cycles (way better
than average and that’s full cycles, partials
don’t count. go ahead, top it o.)

Compatibility
The powerstation has been designed to charge a
variety of USB devices – specically smartphones
and tablets. We have done extensive testing
on a variety of products and can assure you
that this device is fully compatible with most
smart devices available today. As always, and for
whatever device you have – please read through
all of the warnings in this manual very carefully
before using this product.
Charging your juice pack
Connect your powerstation using the included
micro USB cable. You can charge your juice
pack using your computer or using a third
party USB wall adaptor. You can even use your
iPad wall adaptor, which is the fastest method
currently available. (The LED power indicator
will blink when charging, as the powerstation
becomes more charged the LEDs will indicate
how full it is, but one LED will remain blinking
until completely full.)
Charging your device using the juice pack
You will notice there is no output cable from the
powerstation, that’s because the powerstation
has a BYOC, bring your own cable, policy. This
way, the powerstation can play with whichever
device and connector you have lying around,
not limited to what we choose to ship it with. In
order to charge your device, you will need to
have a USB cable compatible with your device.
These come standard with all Apple products
as well as most other smartphones, tablets and
MP3 players.
Plug the Standard USB end into the
powerstation. This is important, DO NOT
try and force it in if it’s not working. You’re
probably trying the wrong port. Now, use
the other end of the cable and plug it into
the device you wish to charge. Next, press
the status indicator button on the side of
the device to start charging. Once charged,
simply unplug your device and store your
powerstation until you’re ready to charge
again.
Checking the status of the juice pack
You can check the amount of juice your
powerstation has by pressing the button
on the side of the device. There are 4 total
LEDs. When the button is pressed the LEDs
will illuminate for several seconds. Four LEDs
means that the juice pack is fully charged and
one LED means that it’s almost empty.
To keep your juice pack operating to its
fullest potential, make sure to do the
following:
1. Keep your juice pack dry and away from
moisture and corrosive materials.
2. Do not wash the juice pack with harsh
chemicals, soaps or detergents. Just wipe the
case with a soft, water-dampened cloth. Wipe
the pins gently with a soft, dry cloth.
3. Re-charge your juice pack once every three
months when not in use, and remember to
charge it for one hour before putting it away
the rst time.
