Keep the appliance and its cord
out of reach of children aged less
than 8 years. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children.

positioned to avoid spillage of the
hot liquids.

you connect it.

make sure that the plug is inserted
rmly into the power outlet.
• Do not use the appliance if the
plug, the power cord, the inner
pot, the sealing ring, or the main
body is damaged.
• Do not let the power cord hang
over the edge of the table or
worktop on which the multi-
cooker stands.
• Make sure the heating element,
the temperature sensor, and the
outside of the inner pot are clean
and dry before you put the plug
in the power outlet.
• Do not plug in the multi-cooker
or press any of the buttons on the
control panel with wet hands.
Caution
• Never use any accessories or
parts from other manufacturers
or that Philips does not specically
recommend. If you use such
accessories or parts, your
guarantee becomes invalid.
• Do not expose the multi-cooker
to high temperatures, nor place it
on a working or still hot stove or
cooker.
• Do not expose the multi-cooker
to direct sunlight.
• Place the multi-cooker on a stable,
horizontal, and level surface.
• Always put the inner pot in the
multi-cooker before you put the
plug in the power outlet and
switch it on.
• Do not place the inner pot
directly over an open re to cook
rice.
• Do not use the inner pot if it is
deformed.
• The accessible surfaces may
become hot when the multi-
cooker is operating. Take extra
caution when touching the multi-
cooker.
• Beware of hot steam coming out
of the steam vent during cooking
or out of the multi-cooker when
you open the lid. Keep hands and
face away from the multi-cooker
to avoid the steam.
• The inner pot and steamer during
and after cooking process, may be
hot and heavy.
• Do not lift and move the multi-
cooker while it is operating.
• Do not exceed the maximum
water level indicated in the inner
pot to prevent overow which
might cause potential hazard.
• Do not place the cooking utensils
inside the pot while cooking,
keeping warm or reheating rice.
• Only use the cooking utensils
provided. Avoid using sharp
utensils.
• To avoid scratches, it is not
recommended to cook
ingredients with crustaceans and
shellsh. Remove the hard shells
before cooking.
• Do not insert metallic objects or
alien substances into the steam
vent.
• Do not place a magnetic
substance on the lid. Do not use
the multi-cooker near a magnetic
substance.
• Always let the multi-cooker cool
down before you clean or move it.
• Always clean the multi-cooker
after use. Do not clean the multi-
cooker in dishwasher.
• Always unplug the multi-cooker if
not used for a longer period.
• If the multi-cooker is used
improperly or for professional
or semiprofessional purposes, or
if it is not used according to the
instructions in this user manual,
the guarantee becomes invalid
and Philips refuses liability for any
damage caused.
Power failure backup function
This appliance has a backup function that remembers the status
before a power failure.
• If the power failure occurs during a cooking process, and the
power supply is resumed within two hours, the countdown of
the cooking time continues where it left off.
• If the power failure occurs when the appliance is at preset
mode, and the power supply is resumed within two hours, the
countdown of the preset time continues where it left off.
• If the power supply is resumed after two hours, the appliance
will not resume the previous work, but be in standby mode.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and
regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic elds.

5 Using the multicooker
Tip
•To cancel an ongoing cooking process, press the Warm/off button
, and the multicooker will be in standby mode.
•To switch off, you need to unplug the multicooker.
Before rst use
1 Take out all the accessories from the inner pot. Remove all
packaging materials of the inner pot.
2 Clean the parts of the multicooker thoroughly before using the
multicooker for the rst time (see chapter ‘Cleaning’).
Note
•Make sure all parts are completely dry before you start using the
multicooker.

Cooking rice (g. 4)
There are three rice cooking functions: standard rice cooking, ultra-
quick rice cooking and small portion rice cooking.
1 Measure the rice using the measuring cup provided.
2 Wash away the dusts and bran of the rice with tap water.
3 Put the pre-washed rice in the inner pot.
4 Add water to the level indicated on the scale inside the inner
pot that corresponds to the number of cups of rice used. Then
smooth the rice surface.
» For instance, if you cook 4 cups of rice, add water up to the
4-cup level indicated on the scale.
Note
•The level marked inside the inner pot is just an indication; you can
always adjust the water level for different types of rice and your own
preference.
•Besides following the water level indications, you may also add rice
and water at 1:1-1.2 ratio for rice cooking.
•Do not exceed the volume indicated nor exceed the maximum
water level indicated in the inner pot, as this may cause the
multicooker to overow.
5 Press the lid release button to open the lid.
6 Wipe the outside of the inner pot dry, then put it in the
multicooker.
Note
•Make sure that the inner pot handle ts into the recesses of the
cooker body, and that the inner pot is in proper contact with the
heating element.
•Make sure that the outside of the inner pot is dry and clean, and that
there is no foreign residue on the heating element.
7 Close the lid of the multicooker, and put the plug in the power
socket.
8 Press the menu button until the desired rice cooking
function is selected.
9 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
10 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Note
•After the cooking is nished, stir the rice and loosen it immediately
to release excessive moisture for uffy rice.
•Depending on the cooking conditions, the bottom portion of the
rice may become slightly browned.
Cooking congee (g. 5)
1 Follow steps 1 to 7 in “Cooking rice”.
Note
•Do not exceed the water level indication for congee cooking, as this
may cause the rice cooker to overow.
2 Press the menu button until the congee function is
selected.
» To set a different cooking time, refer to chapter “Adjusting the
cooking time”.
3 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
4 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Note
•It is normal to nd the congee stickier if it is left in keep-warm mode for
too long.
Making soup (g. 6)
1 Put food and ingredients for the soup in the inner pot.
2 Add some water to the inner pot. The quantity of water depends
on the amount of food in the inner pot and your own preference.
Note
•Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated inside the inner pot on
the scale for congee cooking.
3 Follow steps 6 and 7 in “Cooking rice”.
4 Press the menu button until the soup function is
selected.
» To set a different cooking time, refer to chapter “Adjusting the
cooking time”.
5 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
6 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Cooking stew (g. 7)
1 Put food and ingredients for the stew in the inner pot.
2 Add some water to the inner pot. The quantity of water depends
on the amount of food in the inner pot and your own preference.
Note
•Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated inside the inner pot on
the scale for congee cooking.
3 Follow steps 6 and 7 in “Cooking rice”.
4 Press the menu button until the stew function is
selected.
» To set a different cooking time, refer to chapter “Adjusting the
cooking time”.
5 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
6 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Cooking ve-grain or brown rice (g. 8)
1 To cook ve-grain rice, measure the ingredients for ve grains
using the measuring cup provided. To cook brown rice, measure
some rice and brown rice using the measuring cup provided.
2 Follow steps 2 to 7 in “Cooking rice”.
3 Press the menu button until the ve-grain rice or brown
rice function is selected.
4 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.

Reheating (g. 9)
You can use the reheat mode to warm up rice that has cooled down.
1 Loosen the cooled rice and evenly distribute it in the inner pot.
2 Pour some water onto the rice to prevent it from becoming too
dry. The quantity of the water depends on the amount of rice and
your own preference.
3 Follow steps 6 and 7 in “Cooking rice”.
4 Press the reheat button , and the reheating function is chosen.
» To set a different cooking time, refer to chapter “Adjusting the
cooking time”.
5 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
6 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Steaming (g. 10)
1 Pour some water into the inner pot.
Note
•The quantity of water depends on the amount of food in the steam
tray. Do not immerse the steam tray in water.
2 Put the food to be steamed on a plate or in the steam tray.
3 Put the steam tray into the inner pot.
4 If you are using a separate plate, put it into the steam tray.
5 Close the lid of the multicooker, and put the plug in the power
socket.
6 Press the menu button until the steam function is
selected.
» To set a different cooking time, refer to chapter “Adjusting the
cooking time”.
7 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
8 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
9 Open the lid and carefully take out the steamed food from the
plate or steam tray.
Note
•When you cook and steam food at the same time, do not exceed
the 2-cup level indicated on the inside of the inner pot, otherwise
the feet of the detachable bottom will be in contact with the food.
•During steaming, make sure that food in the steam tray does
not exceed the MAX indication on the inside of the steam tray,
otherwise the steam vent hole will be blocked, and pressure will
build up inside of the appliance, causing the top lid to burst open.
•Do not put more than 2kg of food in the steam tray, otherwise the
steam tray might slip into the inner pot and the detachable bottom
might fall off.
•The cooking time will not start accumulating before the water is
brought to boil. For instance, if you set a cooking time of 10 minutes,
after the water starts boiling, the multicooker will keep on working at
boiling temperature for 10 minutes.
Tip
•The steam tray has a removable bottom. You may release the
bottom from the steam tray and put it in the inner pot to steam
food directly. Do not immerse the bottom in water.
Cooking Chinese marbled tea eggs (g. 11)
1 Put the ingredient, water and eggs into the inner pot.
Note
•Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated inside the inner pot.
•Make sure the eggs are immersed in water..
2 Follow steps 6 and 7 in “Cooking rice”.
3 Press the menu button until the Chinese marbled tea eggs
function is selected.
4 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
» To set a different cooking time, refer to chapter “Adjusting the
cooking time”.
5 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Tip
•When the eggs are done, gently tap the eggs over their surfaces until
they have a network of cracks. This way the tea eggs will observe
more taste from the sauce.
Baking cake (g. 12)
1 Whisk the ingredients for cake well.
2 Coat the inner pot with some butter or cooking oil, and then
pour the cake mixture into it.
3 Follow steps 6 and 7 in “Cooking rice”.
Note
•Keep the top lid closed when baking cake.
4 Press the menu button until the cake function is selected.
5 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
6 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
7 Open the lid and carefully take out the inner pot to cool down.
8 After the inner pot has cooled down, put a plate or cake rack on
top of the pot, and then ip over to take the cake out.
Cooking clay pot rice (g. 13)
1 Follow steps 1 to 7 in “Cooking rice”.
2 Press the menu button until the claypot rice function is
selected.
3 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
4 When the rice is ready, the multicooker beeps for a while.
5 Add the ingredients for the claypot rice by placing them on top of
the rice. Close the lid to resume the cooking process.
6 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Steam cleaning (g. 14)
1 Pour some water into the inner pot.
2 Follow steps 6 and 7 in “Cooking rice”.
3 Press the menu button until the steam cleaning function is
selected.
4 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to start the
cooking process.
5 When the cooking is nished, you will hear 4 beeps, and the
multicooker switches to keep-warm mode automatically.
» Keep-warm ( ) is indicated on the display screen.
Adjusting the cooking time (g. 15)
You can adjust the cooking time for reheat, congee, soup, stew,
Chinese marbled tea eggs and steam. Refer to the “Functions
overview” table for the time regulation of each function.
After you have selected the desired cooking function using the menu
button, the default cooking time will be displayed on the screen.
1 Press the cooking time button , and the cooking time starts
ashing on the display screen.
2 Press the minute and/or hour buttons to set the desired
cooking time.
Tip
•Press the minute button once to adjust the cooking time by 1 minute;
press the hour button once to adjust the cooking time by 1 hour; press
and hold the minute or hour button to fast forward in adjusting the
cooking time.
Preset time for delayed cooking (g. 16)
You can preset the delayed cooking time in different cooking modes.
The preset timer is available up to 24 hours.
1 Press the menu button until the desired cooking function is
selected.
2 Press the preset time button , and the default preset time starts
ashing on the display screen.
3 Press the minute and/or hour buttons to set the desired
preset time.
4 Press and hold the start button for 3 seconds to conrm the
preset timer.
5 The cooking will be nished when the preset time has elapsed.
Note
•The preset timer is not available in reheat, cake and steam cleaning
functions.
•If the preset time is shorter than the cooking time, the multicooker
will start the cooking process immediately.
Tip
•Press the minute button once to adjust the preset time by 1 minute; press
the hour button once to adjust the preset time by 1 hour; press and hold
the minute or hour button to fast forward in adjusting the preset time.
Setting up child lock (g. 17)
To protect your child from using the multicooker, you may set up the
child lock function.
• Press and hold the reheat button for 3 seconds to enter the
child lock mode.
» The child lock icon appears on the display screen.
• To unlock, press and hold the reheat button for 3 seconds
again
» The child lock icon disappears from the display screen.
6 Cleaning and Maintenance
Note
•Unplug the multicooker before starting to clean it.
•Wait until the multicooker has cooled down sufciently before
cleaning it.
•Maker sure to clean the detachable inner lid after cooking, otherwise
it will discolour and develop a foul odor.
Interior
• Soak the detachable inner lid in warm or cold water and wash
with a sponge.
• Wipe the heating element with wrung out cloth.
• Remove all the food residues stuck to the multicooker with a
bamboo stick or a chopstick.
Exterior
• Wipe with a cloth damped with soap water.
• Only use soft and dry cloth to wipe the control panel.
• Make sure to remove all the food residues around the control
buttons.
Accessories and inner pot
Detachable top lid, rice scoop, soup ladle, inner pot, steam tray, and
steam vent cap:
• Soak in hot water and clean with sponge.
Note
•Do not place spoons, bowls or any other object in the inner pot that
may damage the nonstick coating.
•Clean the inner pot immediately after using seasonings in it.
7 Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with normal household
waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an ofcial
collection point for recycling. By doing this, you can help to
preserve the environment.
8 Guarantee and service
If you need service or information, or if you have a problem, visit the

Care Center in your country. You can nd its phone number in the
worldwide guarantee leaet. If there is no Customer Care Center in

9 Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems when using this multicooker, check the
following points before requesting service. If you cannot solve the
problem, contact the Philips Consumer Care Center in your country.
Problem Solution
The rice is too
soft, too hard, or
not well cooked.
If the multicooker is positioned on an uneven
or tilted surface, the texture of the cooked rice
may be too hard or too soft as the amount of
water becomes inconsistent.
The texture of rice varies depending on the
brand of rice, where it was harvested, and how
long it was stored (new crop or old crop).
The texture of rice varies depending on the
room and water temperatures.
Using the preset function may result in softer
rice. This is normal.
Using the ultra quick rice cooking menu setting
may result in harder rice. This is normal.
Check if the inner pot is deformed.
There is not enough water. Add water
according to the scale on the inside of the
inner pot.
You did not press and hold the start button
for 3 seconds to start cooking.
Make sure that there is no foreign residue on
the heating element and the outside of the
inner pot before switching the multicooker on.
The rice is
scorched.
Check if there are food residue on the heating
plate or outside of the inner pot. Remove
the food residue with a bamboo stick or a
chopstick.
You have not rinse the rice properly. Rinse the
rice until the water runs clear.
Check if the inner pot is deformed.
Water spills out of
the multicooker
during cooking.
Make sure that you add water to the level
indicated on the scale inside the inner pot
that corresponds to the number of cups of
rice used.
Make sure the water does not exceed the
maximum level on the scale, as this may cause
the appliance to overow during cooking.
The cake result is
too hard.
Please use cake mix and follow the instructions
provided in the user manual.
I cannot get
to the desired
cooking function.
Press the menu button repeatedly to
select the desired cooking function as shown
by the display screen.
Check if the keep-warm indicator is on.
Deactivate keep-warm and try again.
Check if the power cord is connected to the
cooker properly and if the plug is inserted
rmly into the power outlet.
Rice smells bad
after cooking
After cooking, make sure the steam vent cap,
inner lid and inner pot are cleaned thoroughly.
Clean the inner pot with some washing
detergent and warm water.
The light on the
button does not
go on or the
display does not
function.
There is a connection problem. Check if
the power cord is connected to the cooker
properly and if the plug is inserted rmly into
the power outlet.
Error Solution

5 使用微電腦灶燒電子鍋
秘訣
•如果要取消正在進行的烹調程序,請按下保溫/取消按鈕 ,
微電腦灶燒電子鍋將轉為待命模式。
•若要關機,您必須將電源線拔離插座。
第一次使用
1 從內鍋拿出所有配件,除去內鍋的包裝。
2 第一次使用微電腦灶燒電子鍋前,請先徹底清洗微電腦灶燒
電子鍋的各部件 (請參閱「清洗」單元)。
註
•開始使用微電腦灶燒電子鍋前,請先確定所有零件都已經
完全乾燥。
炊飯 (圖 2 & 3)
共有三種米飯烹調功能:標準米飯烹調、快速米飯烹調,以及
少量米飯烹調。
1 使用所附的量杯來量米。
2 用清水將米粒中的灰塵及米糠等雜物洗乾淨。
3 將洗好的米倒入內鍋中。
4 在內鍋中加水,直到水位相當於內鍋中所指示使用的米杯
數,然後將米均勻攤平。
» 例如,如果您要煮 4 杯米,請將水加到 4 杯的水位刻
度。
註
•內鍋內側所標示的水位僅供參考;您可以隨時針對不同的米以
及自己的偏好來調整水位。
•除了遵照水位刻度標示,您也可以使用米與水之比例為
1:1-1.2 的方式加入米和水,以烹調米飯。

MAX (最大),否則將會阻擋蒸氣通氣孔,造成產品內累積壓

•請勿在蒸盤中放入超過 2 公斤的食物,否則蒸盤可能會滑入內
鍋,可拆式底盤可能會脫落。
•在水沸騰之後,才會開始計算烹調時間。例如,如果您設定烹
調時間為 10 分鐘,則在水開始沸騰後,微電腦灶燒電子鍋將
會以沸騰溫度持續運作 10 分鐘。
秘訣
•蒸盤有可拆式底盤。您可以從蒸盤上拆下底盤,放入內鍋,直
接蒸煮食物。請勿讓底盤浸泡在水中。
烹調中式茶葉蛋 (圖 8)
1 在內鍋中放入食材、水以及蛋。
註
•水位不可超過內鍋裡側所標示的最高刻度。
•確定蛋已浸入水中。
2 依照「米飯烹調」的步驟 6 及 7 操作。
3 按下功能選擇按鈕 直到選擇了茶葉蛋功能 為止。

1 充分攪拌蛋糕材料。
2 在內鍋塗上薄薄一層奶油或食用油,然後將混拌好的蛋糕
材料倒入。

•烘焙蛋糕時請保持上蓋關閉。

調整烹調時間 (圖 12)
您可以調整再加熱、煮粥、煲湯、燉品、茶葉蛋,以及清蒸的
烹調時間。請參閱「功能概覽」表格中每項功能的時間規定。
當您使用功能選擇按鈕選取想要的烹調功能後,液晶屏上即會
顯示預設烹調時間。
1 按下定時按鈕 ,液晶屏上的定時器會開始閃爍。
2 按下分鐘 及/或小時 按鈕,以設定想要的烹調時間。
秘訣
•按一次分鐘按鈕,就可以 1 分鐘為單位調整烹調時間;按一次
小時按鈕,則可以 1 小時為單位調整烹調時間;按住分鐘或小
時按鈕,即可快速調整烹調時間。
預約延遲烹調時間 (圖 13)
您可以在不同的烹調模式中預約延遲烹調時間。預約定時器最
多可為 24 小時。
1 按下功能選擇按鈕 直到選擇了想要的烹調功能為止。
2 按下預約時間按鈕 ,液晶屏將顯示預設的預約時間。
3 按下分鐘 及/或小時 按鈕,以設定想要的預約時間。
4 按住開始按鈕 3 秒鐘以完成定時預約功能。
5 烹調將在預約時間結束時完成。
註
•預約定時器無法用於再加熱、蛋糕,以及蒸氣清洗功能。
•如果預約時間比烹調時間短,微電腦灶燒電子鍋會立即開始
烹調程序。
秘訣
•按一次分鐘按鈕,就可以 1 分鐘為單位調整預約時間;按一次
小時按鈕,則可以 1 小時為單位調整預約時間;按住分鐘或小
時按鈕,即可快速調整預約時間。
設定兒童鎖 (圖 14)
為了保護您的小孩,避免其使用微電腦灶燒電子鍋,您可以設
定兒童鎖功能。
• 按住再加熱按鈕 3 秒鐘,以進入兒童鎖模式。
» 液晶屏上會出現兒童鎖圖示 。
• 如果要解除鎖定,請再次按住再加熱按鈕 3 秒鐘
» 液晶屏上的兒童鎖圖示 會消失。
6 清洗與維護
註
•開始清洗微電腦灶燒電子鍋前,請先拔除插頭。
•進行清洗之前,請稍加等待,確定微電腦灶燒電子鍋已充分
冷卻。
•每次使用後,請務必清洗可拆卸蓋板元件,如果放置不予清
洗,會造成變色及異味的產生。
內部
• 可拆卸內蓋板件用熱水或者冷水浸泡後,用海綿塊清洗擦
拭。
• 發熱盤內側用擰乾水分的抹布擦拭。
• 如有飯粒等異物沾附時,請用竹簽或牙籤將米粒清除乾淨。
外部
• 用軟布沾上稀釋的洗滌劑,擰乾後擦拭,但液晶屏只能用
幹軟布擦拭。
• 控制面板只能使用軟的乾布擦拭。
• 確定清掉所有黏在控制鈕周圍的食物殘渣。
配件及內鍋清理
可拆式上蓋、飯勺、湯杓、內鍋、蒸盤,以及蒸氣通氣孔蓋:
• 浸泡在熱水,以海綿刷洗。
備註
•請勿將餐具浸泡于內鍋中或將可能損傷內鍋的物品放入內鍋
中。
•使用調味料後請務必儘快清洗內鍋。
7 環境保護
本產品使用壽命結束時,請勿與一般家庭廢棄物一併丟

或沒有煮透。
在傾斜的場所增減水量時,易造成水量過
多或過少,導致米飯的軟硬度變化。
因品種、產地、保存日期(新密和舊米)
等不同,米飯的軟硬度會有變化。
因室溫、水溫等不同,米飯的軟硬度會有
變化,請酌情增減水量。
在預約炊飯時,米飯有時會變得稍軟,此
為正常現象。
用白米快速炊飯時,米飯會變得稍硬,此
為正常現象。
內鍋是否變形?
如水量不夠,會導致飯沒有煮透,可根據
內鍋的刻度加水。
請確保您已按住開始按鈕 3 秒以開始
烹調。
在開啟微電腦灶燒電子鍋電源前,請確認
發熱盤上和內鍋外部沒有異物殘留。
米飯煮焦。
檢查發熱盤及內鍋外側沾附飯粒或米粒等
