Installation
Mounting the Power Strip in a Server Rack
1. Determine the mounting location and mounting direction for the Power Strip.
Note: The Power Strip will use 1U of Server Rack space.
2. Align the 4 holes in one Reversible Mounting Bracket with the 4 Mounting Holes
on one side of the Power Strip. Ensure the two Server Rack Mounting Holes in the
Reversible Mounting Bracket are ush with the intended front side of the Power
Strip.
3. Insert 4 Mounting Screws through the Reversible Mounting Bracket and into the
Power Strip.

Operation
In the event of a power surge, toggle the Power Switch to the OFF position then to
the RESET position.
4. Tighten the 4 Mounting Screws using a Phillips Head Screwdriver.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 to install the second Reversible Mounting Bracket.
6. Install 4 Cage Nuts (sold separately) into the Server Rack in the desired mounting
location .
7. Align the Server Rack Mounting Holes in the Reversible Mounting Brackets with
the Cage Nuts in the Server Rack.
8. Insert 4 M-Type Screws (sold separately) through the Server Rack Mounting Holes
in the Reversible Mounting Brackets and into the Cage Nuts in the Server Rack.
9. Tighten the 4 M-Type Screws using a Phillips Head Screwdriver.
Connecting the Powered Devices
• Connect the NEMA 5-15 or NEMA 5-20 Plugs from up to 10 Rack-Mounted
Powered Devices to the NEMA 5-20 Receptacles on the Power Strip.
Connecting the Power Source
1. Connect the C19 Plug from the Power Cable to the C20 Inlet on the Power Strip.
2. Connect the NEMA 5-20 Plug from the Power Cable to the Power Source.
3. Toggle the Power Switch to the RESET position.
