Installation
Installing the wireless transmitter
1. Position the wireless transmitter near your video source device
(i.e. Computer, Blu-ray Player).
2. Connect the video output on your HDMI source device to the
HDMI input port on the wireless transmitter, using an HDMI cable
(not included).
3. (Optional) If you’re using the wireless video extender to
transmit an infrared (IR) signal, connect the IR blaster to the IR
blaster output port on the wireless transmitter, and position the
extended bulb of the IR blaster directly in front of the IR sensor on
your HDMI source device. Check the manual of your HDMI source
device for the IR sensor location.
4. Using one of the included power adapters, connect the wireless
transmitter to an available electrical outlet.
The wireless transmitter is now installed.
Installing the wireless receiver
1. Position the wireless receiver near your HDMI display (i.e.
television, projector).
2. Connect the HDMI output port on the wireless receiver to the
input on your HDMI display, using an HDMI cable (not included).
3. (Optional) If you’re using the wireless video extender to transmit
an infrared (IR) signal, connect the IR receiver to the IR receiver
input port on the wireless receiver, and position the extended
bulb of the IR receiver in the general area you would like to point
your IR control.
4. Using one of the included power adapters, connect the wireless
receiver to an available electrical outlet.
The wireless receiver is now installed and your HDMI source will
be wirelessly transmitted to your HDMI display.
Notes:
• The maximum distance between the transmitter and the receiver
is 50 meters. If the wireless signal is obstructed by walls, or other
interference the signal quality and maximum distance will likely be
reduced.
• When extending infrared, this product can only support an IR
signal in the 38 kHz carrier modulation mode.
