SSB-161, SSM-161, SLB-161 and SLM-161 Interface Brackets
SSB-161, SSM-161, SLB-161 and SLM-161 Interface Brackets are designed for use with Chief® Series Projector Mounts. See the specific
ins tall ation inst ru ction s prov ide d with the m ount for addi tiona l i nstal lati on in form ation . Unpack carton and ver i fy kit c onte nts. If any l is ted pa rts
are missing, immediately contact a Chief Customer Service representative.
WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO EQUIPMENT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT substitute hardware. Use only hardware supplied by manufacturer!
Installation Instructions
WARNING: OVERTIGHTENING OF SCREWS CAN DAMAGE P ART S AND LEAD TO SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND DAMAGE
TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT over tighten scr ews when installing interface bracket.
NOTE: Step 1 is only required when installing an SLB/SSB interface bracket. If an SLM/SSM bracket is being installed, proceed to step 2.
1. Screw thumb screws onto 10-24 x 5/8" Phillips pan head screws. DO NOT fully tighten thumb screws at this time.
2. Turn projector upside down.
3. Un screw two rear adjust able fee t of projector.
4. Install two rubber bumpers from inside pushing out into two larger holes of brackets (A) and (B).
5. Slide bracket (B) around projector w ith back mounting slot between foot and bottom of p rojector to prevent project or from sliding forwar d
or backward.
6. Slide bracket (A) around opposite side of projector from bracket (B) with back mounting slot between foot and bottom of projector to
preventing projector from sliding forward or backward.
7. Align two slotted holes in bracket (B) with two threaded holes in bracket (A) until brackets touch side of projector.
8. Secure two brackets to projector using 10-24 x 1/4" Phillips pan head screws. Tighten all fasteners at this time, securing the bracket to
the project or.
NOTE: Security screws can be substituted when mounting interface bracket to projector by using the parts and installation
instructions in the All-Points Security Kit.
