SSB-860, SSM-860, SLB-860 and SLM-860 Interface Brackets
SSB-860, SSM-860, SLB-860 and SLM-860 Interface Brackets are designed for use with Chief® Series Projector Mounts. See the specific
installation instructions provided with the mount for additional installation information.
Unpack carton and verify kit conten ts. If any listed parts are missing, immediately contact a Ch ief Customer Service representative.
WARNING: IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO EQUIPMENT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT substitute hardware. Use only hardware supplied by manufacturer!
Installation Instructions
WARNING: OVER TIGHTENING OF SCREWS CAN DAMAGE PARTS AND CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT over tighten screws when installing interface bracket.
NOTE: Step 1 is only required when installing an SLB/SSB interface bracket. If an SLM/SSM bracket is being installed, proceed to step 2.
1. Screw thumb screws onto 10-24 x 5/8" Phillips pan head screws. DO NOT fully tighten thumb screws at this time.
2. Turn projector upside down on a flat surface.
3. Ra ise the front adjus table f eet and place i nterface bracket o n the pro jector. Ensure the front slots in the brac ket ar e around the adjustabl e
feet and the two front mounting holes in the bracket align with the two mounting inserts in the bottom front of the projector.
4. A ttach the in terfa ce bracket usi ng the t hree 4 x 10 mm mounting screws an d # 4 washers. Ti ghten the two front adj ust able feet agai nst t he
projector.
5. A ttach t he U-Fo rm bracket ar ound the pro je ctor and t hrough t he hol es in th e int erfac e bra cket usi ng the two #1 0 flat washers and 10 x 2 4
Ny lock nuts.
6. Tighten all fasteners at this time securing interface bracket to projector.
NOTE: Felt squar es are p rovide d to protect pr oject or shel l, i f desi red. Th ey can be at ta ched to t he proj ector or wrapped aro und the
U-Form rod. Security screws can be substituted when mounting interface bracket to projector by using the parts and
installation instructions in the All-Points Security Kit.

encirc led locati ons abov e. DO NOT attempt t o subst itute a nd USE ONLY thi s pre-in stalled hardware for SSB-sty le and SSM-st yle
interface bracket installation.
