Battery Replacement
Always recycle us ed batteries. For information on recycling the used battery,
refer to the Battery Disposal Information sheet included with the replacement
battery.
Replace used batteries with APC approved batteries. To order replacement battery APCRBC143, go to the
APC Web site, www.apc.com.

Reset the Battery Install Date
Reset the Battery Inst all Date for the inte rnal UPS battery.
If the Battery Install Date screen does not appear on the display interface
within two minutes of installing the new battery, use the arrow keys to
navigate to: Main Menu > Configu ration > Battery Install Date.
On the Batter y Insta ll Date scre en, use the ar row keys t o select the mont h,
date, and year. Press ENTER to make a selecti on then mo ve to the next
option.
When finished, press ENTER to save the date.
When the RBC is fully charged, perform a self-te st and run time calibr ation test.
