Safety information
• Before setting up the monitor, carefully read all the documentation that came
with the package.
• To prevent re or shock hazard, never expose the monitor to rain or moisture.
• Never try to open the monitor cabinet. The dangerous high voltages inside the
monitor may result in serious physical injury.
• If the power supply is broken, do not try to x it by yourself. Contact a qualied
service technician or your retailer.
• Before using the product, make sure all cables are correctly connected and the
power cables are not damaged. If you detect any damage, contact your dealer
immediately.
• Slots and openings on the back or top of the cabinet are provided for
ventilation. Do not block these slots. Never place this product near or over a
radiator or heat source unless proper ventilation is provided.
• The monitor should be operated only from the type of power source indicated
on the label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home,
consult your dealer or local power company.
• Use the appropriate power plug which complies with your local power standard.
• Do not overload power strips and extention cords. Overloading can result in re
or electric shock.
• Avoid dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Do not place the monitor in
any area where it may become wet. Place the monitor on a stable surface.
• Unplug the unit during a lightning storm or if it will not be used for a long period
of time. This will protect the monitor from damage due to power surges.
• Never push objects or spill liquid of any kind into the slots on the monitor
cabinet.
• To ensure satisfactory operation, use the monitor only with UL listed
computers which have appropriate congured receptacles marked between
100-240V AC.
• If you encounter technical problems with the monitor, contact a qualied
service technician or your retailer.
• Adjustment of the volume control as well as the equalizer to other settings
than the center position may increase the ear-/headphones output voltage and
therefore the sound pressure level.
• The adapter is only used for this monitor, do not use it for other purpose.

Care & Cleaning
• Before you lift or reposition your monitor, it is better to disconnect the cables
and power cord. Follow the correct lifting techniques when positioning the
monitor. When lifting or carrying the monitor, grasp the edges of the monitor.
Do not lift the display by the stand or the cord.
• Cleaning. Turn your monitor off and unplug the power cord. Clean the monitor
surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed
with a cloth dampened with mild cleaner.
• Avoid using a cleaner containing alcohol or acetone. Use a cleaner intended
for use with the monitor. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen, as it may
drip inside the monitor and cause an electric shock.
• You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the
desktop pattern you use.
• When the same image is displayed for hours, an afterimage of the previous
screen may remain after switching the image. The screen will recover slowly or
you can turn off the Power Switch for hours.
• When the screen becomes black or ashes, or cannot work anymore, contact
your dealer or service center to x it. Do not repair the screen by yourself!

1. Power button/power indicator
• Turns the monitor on/off when the OSD menu is not displayed.
• The color denition of the power indicator is as the below table.

• Enters or exits the OSD menu after the monitor is turned on.
• Enacts the selected OSD menu items when the OSD menu is displayed.
• With a long press for 2 seconds: returns to the previous page when the
OSD menu is displayed.
2. Up/Down button:
• Increases/Decreases values or moves your selection up/down/left/right
when the OSD menu is displayed.
• Toggles the Key Lock function between on and off with a long press on
the Down button for 5 seconds.
3. DisplayPort type-C in:
• This port connects the power cord.
• This port is for connection with a DisplayPort type-C compatible device.
4. Micro HDMI port:
• This port is for connection with an HDMI compatible device.

The monitor supports HDR format. When detecting HDR content, an "HDR ON"
message will pop up and display in the Information page.

2.1 Attaching the arm/base
To assemble the monitor base:
1. Adjust the monitor base as illustrated so that it stands (Figure 1, Figure 2).
2. Put the monitor into the base, making sure the base ts into the groove on
the monitor. (Figure 3).

2.2 Adjusting the monitor
• For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the
monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you.
• Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from falling when you change its angle.
• You can adjust the monitor’s angle from +2˚ to +20˚.

2.4 Connecting the cables
Connect the cables as the following instructions:
:
a. Connect the power adapter securely to one of the monitor’s DisplayPort
type-C input.
b. Connect one end of the power cord to the power adapter and the other
end to a power outlet.
:
a. Plug one end of the HDMI/DisplayPort cable to the monitor’s HDMI/
DisplayPort jack.
b. Connect the other end of the HDMI/DisplayPort cable to your device's
HDMI/DisplayPort jack.
When these cables are connected, you can choose the desired signal from the
Input Select item in the OSD menu.
2.5 Turning on the monitor
Press the power button . See page 1-2 for the location of the power button. The
power indicator lights up in blue to show that the monitor is ON.

1. Press the power button to activate the OSD menu after the monitor is turned
on.
2. Press the Up/Down button to navigate through the functions. Highlight the
desired function and press the power button to activate it. If the function
selected has a sub-menu, Press the Up/Down button to navigate through the
sub-menu functions. Highlight the desired sub-menu function and press the
power button to activate it.
3. Press the Up/Down button to change the settings of the selected function.
4. To exit and save the OSD menu, highlight and press the power button.
Or you can press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. To adjust other
functions, repeat steps 1-3.
This function contains 8 sub-functions you can select for your preference.
Each mode has the Reset selection, allowing you to maintain your setting or
return to the preset mode.
To activate this function, you need to do the following: turn off Ambient Effect
and disable HDR on your device.

4:3 is only available when input source is in 4:3 format. OverScan is only
available for the HDMI input source when PBP is turned off.
The PIP/PBP Setting allows you to open up another sub-window
connected from another video source besides the main-window
from your original video source. By activating this function, the
monitor displays up to 2 pictures from different video sources.
To activate this function, you need to do the following: disable HDR on your
device.

To activate this function, you need to do the following: turn off PIP/PBP, turn off
Ambient Effect and disable HDR on your device.

• ECOMode: Reduces power consumption.
To activate this function, you need to do the following: disable HDR on your
device.
• HDR:
* “HDR ASUS” .
* “HDR_HLG” complies with HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma). Once
“HDR_HLG” is selected, you have to manually adjust the setting if
you prefer other options.
• PowerSaving:
* “1st Level” allows all signals to be automatically detected when
the monitor enters power saving mode.
* “Deep Level” does not allow all signals to be automatically
detected when the monitor enters power saving mode to achieve
the maximum benefit in power saving.
• OSDSetup:
* Adjusts the OSD timeout from 10 to 120 seconds.
* Enables or disables the DDC/CI function.
* Adjusts the OSD background from opaque to transparent.
* Adjusts the OSD rotation.
• Language: There are 21 languages for your selection, including English,
French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Czech,
Croatian, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Turkish, Simplied Chinese,
Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Persian.
• KeyLock: To disable all function keys. Press the Down button for more
than 5 seconds to cancel the key lock function.
• PowerIndicator: Turns the power LED indicator on/off.
• HumanSensor: turns on/off the Human Sensor function and adjusts its
sensitivity. The effective range is from 30 to 70 cm at center front of the
sensor. The default setting is Low.
* OFF: Human sensor is disabled and the monitor will not display
power saving messages.
* Low: Sensor distance is around 30 cm.
* Medium: Sensor distance is around 50 cm.
* High: Sensor distance is around 70 cm.
The detective range may be slightly different if user wears dark or bright colored
clothing. Set the sensitivity to High when wearing black or other dark clothes.

If the function is enabled and no activity is detected, the monitor will gradually
lower its brightness while displaying energy saving messages. The monitor
resumes normal brightness once it detects human activity again. After a set
period of time into power saving mode, the monitor will enter standby mode.
Please do not put any object too close to the Human Sensor to avoid any
interference.

: “Yes” allows you to restore the default settings.

3.3 Troubleshooting (FAQ)
Power LED is not ON • Press the button to check if the monitor
is in the ON mode.
• Check if the power cord is properly
connected to the monitor and the power
outlet.
• Check if the power switch is ON.
The power LED lights amber and there is
no screen image
• Check if the monitor and the computer are
in the ON mode.
• Make sure the signal cable is properly
connected the monitor and the computer.
• Inspect the signal cable and make sure
none of the pins are bent.
• Connect the computer with another
available monitor to check if the computer
is properly working.
Screen image is too light or dark • Adjust the Contrast and Brightness
settings via OSD.
Screen image bounces or a wave pattern is
present in the image
• Make sure the signal cable is properly
connected to the monitor and the
computer.
• Move electrical devices that may cause
electrical interference.
Screen image has color defects (white does
not look white)
• Inspect the signal cable and make sure
that none of the pins are bent.
• Perform All Reset via OSD.
• Adjust the R/G/B color settings or select
the Color Temperature via OSD.
HDR content is not played properly • Make sure the input source supports HDR
playback (with proper system settings and
latest software).
• Make sure the content is HDR encoded.
No sound or sound is low • Ensure that the HDMI/DisplayPort cable is
properly connected to the monitor and the
computer.
• Adjust the volume settings of both your
monitor and HDMI/DisplayPort device.
• Ensure that the computer sound card
driver is properly installed and activated.
