Thank you for purchasing the Intellinet Gigabit Ethernet Media
Converter. Media converters connect two Ethernet networks over
a longer distance using fiber optic cable.

CONNECTIONS
TwistedPair–RJ45
Connect the UTP port of the media converter to an RJ45 port on
the network; e.g., to an Ethernet switch. Cat5e or better cabling is
recommended.
Fiber Optic
As shown above, two fiber optic cables need to be connected
between two ideally identical media converters. Make a
connection from Media Converter 1 TX to Media Converter 2 RX,
and from Media Converter 1 RX to Media Converter 2 TX.

POWER
Plug the power adapter into the 5 V DC input jack on the media
converter, then connect it to a regular power outlet. Only use
the included power adapter or one with matching specifications
(output of 5 V DC, at least 1 A).
LEDS
PWR – The power adapter is connected when lit.
1000M – 1000 Mbps link on the twisted pair connection when lit.
Link/Act(TP=RJ45;FP=Fiber) – Active link when lit; data traffic
when flashing; no active network link when unlit.
FDX/COL(forTP/RJ45) – Full duplex connection when lit; data
collisions when flashing; half duplex when unlit.
SD(forFP/Fiber) – Fiber optic signal is detected when lit; no
signal when unlit.

Glasfaser

STROMVERSORGUNG

Netzwerkverbindung besteht.
FDX/COL(fürTP/RJ45) – Leuchtet bei Vollduplex-Verbindung;
blinkt bei Datenkollisionen; leuchtet nicht bei Halbduplex.
SD(fürFP/Faser) – Leuchtet wenn Glasfasersignal erkannt wird;
ansonsten nicht.

CONNEXIONS

Connectez le port UTP du convertisseur à un port RJ45 du réseau;

50/60 Hz). Utilisez uniquement l’adaptateur secteur inclus ou un
correspondant aux spécifications (puissance de sortie 5 Vcc, au
moins 1 A).

pierwszego media konwertera oraz drugą końcówkę drugiego

ZASILANIE
Do gniazda 5V DC media konwertera podłącz zasilanie za pomocą
dołączonego adaptera zasilania. Używaj zasilacza dołączonego
w zestawie lub innego, o parametrach zgodnych ze specyfikacją
(5V DC, co najmniej 1A).
DIODY
PWR – Zasilanie jest podłączone.
1000M – Gdy świeci, sygnalizuje połączenie po skrętce z prędkością
1000 Mb/s.
Link/Act(TP=RJ45;FP=Fiber) – Połączenie aktywne, gdy świeci;
transmisja danych, gdy miga; brak połączenia, gdy nie świeci.
FDX/COL(dlaTP/RJ45) – Praca w trybie full duplex, gdy świeci;

Collegare l’alimentatore al la presa da 5 V DC presente sul media
converter, quindi collegarlo ad una regolare presa di corrente (90

uno che abbia delle specifiche corrispondenti a quello fornito in
dotazione (output 5 V DC, ameno 1 A).

PWR – Quando si illumina indica che l’alimentatore è collegato.

link sulla connessione a coppie twistate.
